Jehovah’s glory was manifested ever since that wonderful day when the angel appeared to Mary to give her the good news that the Savior will be born. And from whom many human beings will come to know the Truth and will received the promise of eternal life. As it is affirm in Isaiah 52:10” The LORD will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.” Today is the day the glory of Jehovah is being manifested when we see the great miracles when they invite Jesus to be the Lord of their lives. During the last months the Lord has allow us to enjoy the wonderful manifestation of His glory amongst the people we minister to. Ending 2005, during December we had many activities in the many different communities, especially because is the season we celebrate Christ being born. It was unique awesome each experience in every location. Quintanarro it was one of the many communities we did some activities. As a matter fact the brethren themselves called the 24th to be the day when we all gather to remember and celebrate the great love of God for all humanity. It was a tremendous moving evangelistic service where we saw so many should being convinced of their sins and giving their lives to Jesus. Two weeks before this service mention above, we have been in this place to visit and many lives received the promise of eternal life. I remember so well an specific person that decided to have the Lord as Savior as we were visiting and after sharing and presenting the gospel of our Lord told us: “please don’t leave us along, we need more of the Word” and just like him there were many more. This community is a place where a little more than a year ago we were not allow to come into the town, not even those of its own community that have come to the gospel. And praise the Lord now the people of the town is begging us to come and not to leave them without teaching and sharing the teachings of the scriptures. Emiliano Zapata is another community where the glory of the Lords is being shown strong. There also we held the same activities as we did in Quintanarro. In this great occasion of celebration we had an evangelistic crusade like there has never been seen or done before in this town. Many people attended it even thought we did not have many people come to the Lord the seed was planted. The following visitation that brother Jose Encino along with other brethren that went found brother Sebastian discouraged, because after the December activity he was called to the town council and he was again threaten if he did not leave “his religion” . The town council took all his earthly goods and he was expelled form his town. One member of he council say: “These evangelicals have come to change many of our traditions and if we leave our own costumes, festivities and our won saints festivities…they will be anger against us and we could die, that is the reason why it is easier to get rid of one family…once it becomes four or five or more families it will be very difficult.” So all our visiting brethren started to encourage him and his family. Interesting the plans of the Lord, Now we have two Christian families there! While there is much opposition this town, we take this signs to means much more will experience the great manifestation of the Lord. As the scriptures promise: Romans 5:20b “But where sin increased, grace increased all the more” I would like to add that during the above visitation that same day; two families came two visit brother Sebastian. They belong to two town near by. They received the Lord as their savior. They were coming to tell brother Sebastian that he would not be allow to come into their towns, now he can come in to disciple in one of the villages, partly because he belong to the authorities of this town and he has been the only evangelical to come into the village. Please pray for our brother Sebastian and his family for the Lord to strengthen, protect them and to continue to use them where they live and their surrounding as they travel to visit the communities. Also, pray for the professor that came to know the Lord as his savior that the Lord may hold him fast in his new faith and that he may be rescue from any temptation. More Activities accomplished: We started January by the Lord allowing us to hold a united services with all the churches of the community of Naranjos when we celebrated the act of obedience by 10 brethren that were baptized and follow by celebrating the Lord supper. We were so blessed by the grace of the Lord. This same day many more came forward to ask to be baptized. We are now making plans to organize another join activity like next month or two after we disciple them what it means to be baptized. They already consider baptism a serious act that it why they ponder to take this step and rather wait to fully be ready to take this act of obedience El CECABI (Center for Biblical Training) As we have been doing the training happens the first days of the month. This month we have come to the decision that native local missionaries who are coming from their communities and are students of the CECABI should start training their local church leaders (where they are already ministering) with the first level of the CECABI curriculum. We came to this decision because many brethren leadership want to receive the training but for many justified reasons can not come to the center to be train. I would like to ask for you to pray for the CECABI (Center for Biblical Training). Even though we have many brethren whose heart is so celous to be train and work in the harvest of the Lord, we have some brothers and sisters that are dwindling in their attendance. In these first two months of the years we have seen the attendance to go down considerably. It appears as if they want to have nothing to do with the work of the Lord. I know that not everyone that come to be train will remain continually active in their churches, but in this case son have become very inactive in their churches and many are making plans to go to the United States to work because is hard to make a living here. The migration situation is an alarming one around these places. It is causing tremendous problems to the families. Each day many people are leaving their families…as the saying goes here “to their own luck”. We know this situations becomes an opportune moments for the enemy to really destroy lives. Please pray for these brethren and their decision making. I would like to share with you all also the great blessings of the fruits of our labor, because together, YOU and us, have been working hard here in the harvest field. You have been partaking in the processes and plans to officially organize two churches in the month of June and July. We will confirm with you this dates. Please pray for this awesome thing to happen among the Chol tribes, for the Lord to protect the process and for the Lord to help us with wisdom in all the legalities and how to speak and when to do it. Pray for the Lord to protect the many local missionaries the Lord is risen up: Pablo and Manuel Cruz Jimenez are breaking brand new grounds in the low areas of Sabanilla. They are pastor from the Ebenecer Church in the November 20 Community. Please pray for the wife of Pastor Pable who has been of extremely poor health. It seems to be problems with bad blood circulation. We are not quiet sure what is causing all her problems. Please pray that the Lord make a miracle in our sister’ life. Manuel Cruz and his family have a little girl that every once in a while she loses her senses and acts up with extreme rebellion and cries for no reason. Also, pray for their other two daughters who are studying in San Cristobal de las Casas. As we mention earlier Pastors Víctor Encino Martínez y Lucio Gómez, are the missionaries in Quintanarro. The Lord is using them in a very tremendous special way in this place. Up to this date there are approximately 25 brethren meeting. Some are new in the faith and they are leading discipleship training and evangelistic teachings. Please pray for each one of them and their families. Victor’s wife has been feeling really bad with sinus problems for about two months. She has gone to the doctor and the prescribed a treatment but because of financial resources they were not able to purchase the prescribed medication. Please pray that the Lord will send away to provide for their needs or to bring a miracle in her life and heal her from this illness. Lucio has been literally attack by the enemy. Things like: taking his cover during the night, opening the doors of his house, horrible nightmares and lately have been extremely and the doctors can find any medical reason. I beg much prayer for them, please. Missionary team who co-laborer together here: Please pray for Brother Jose Encino Perez, who is recuperating for his kidney surgery. For his wife who is being an ideal helper to our brother. Also for their children: Marta who is in high School and Rogelio who is at the university so the Lord will supply their needs. Please for sister/missionary Teresa Miranda Tolentino, who at this time is in her furlough in Tijuana with her family. Probably she will be back with us sometime March or April. Please pray that the Lord will increase in her wisdom, strengthen and protection as he guide her on his plans for her. May the Lord take away any stumbling blocks and it possible for her to join the missionary team here amongst the Chol tribes. Pray for your servant, Julian Martinez and my family, praise the Lord he have been stable. My back continue to hurt even thought they have been making a lot of tests. My wife is doing better healthy wise. Praise the Lord and YOU, brothers and sisters, who interceded for us. My son, Juliancito, this month was really sick. The doctors said it was asthma attacks brought by allergies, due to the many weather changes around here. Elisa, my daughter, praise the Lord she has been well. I would like to share with you some things that are happening in the ministry: I shared with you earlier that we have left the missionary field because of health reasons. Your servant has continue to do a lot of activities here we are living now. We are planning to return to the Chol mission field in August. Pray because our children have express they do not want to go back because a bad experience we had soon after we arrived the first time. In the meantime we have been receiving invitations to pastor in some places, meanwhile our hearts burn for the Lord to allow us to stay in the missionary field. With all these in our hearts and minds we need your help in prayer for the Lord to reveal to us his clear will for our lives. We just desire to do what the Lord want us to do. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; But you give us victory over our enemies; you put our adversaries to shame. Psalms 44; 6-7 Prayer Requests:

We praise the Lord for Norvi Mayfield Ministries supporters have given for our pastoral support. Many times when we did not know how we were going to make it or how we would have funds to pay for our travel expenses to the many communities you came to be our blessing. why they were encouraging brother Sebastian a native professor from this town came to visit brother Sebastian and taking the opportunity brother Jose shared with him the gospel of Jesus and this men on his knees weep as he received the promise of Salvation and eternal life he and his family. This professor with tears in his eyes beg brother Jose that every time he come to visit brother Sebastian to please let him know so he can come to learn and study more about the Word of God, because no one has ever explain to him the scriptures in the way brother Jose had.
